Getting through the door
Before you sit down
- You will be asked for photo ID at every visit, member or guest, without exception.
- You will find no digital way in — no app, no online form, just the door itself.
- You are always welcome to bring a guest, provided a member is present, seating permitting.
- Please leave coats on the rack near the entrance, not draped over a spare chair.
Once you're seated
At the table
- A chip you hold is a point, nothing more; it is never bought, sold or cashed out.
- Whatever the rostered dealer calls stands — raise it before the next deal, not after.
- You will not find a gaming machine anywhere on the property, and no stake ever sits on a table.
- Please keep phones off the felt — step outside if a call really cannot wait.
- You will be talked through the rules before your first hand of the night.
Wrapping up
Before you head off
- Please leave a table between hands, never mid-trick, so the board stays accurate.
- Last hands are called half an hour before the doors shut, whatever table you are at.
- Cups go back to the counter; chips stay with the rostered dealer.
- A word to the dealer on your way out is the only rule nobody wrote down.
